General FAQ

Is oncology massage safe?

Yes! Oncology massage is specifically designed for those with cancer, and our therapists are trained to adjust techniques based on your current condition and treatment plan.

This myth has been debunked a long time ago! Whilst cancer can spread through the blood stream, a massage, especially gentle oncology massage, has less impact on your circulation than a brisk walk – and exercise has now been proven to be an essential part of your treatment!

No referral is required, but we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider to ensure that oncology massage is a good option for you, especially if you have any medical concerns.

Sessions typically last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your needs and preferences.
